Loadful has a second side for companies that also broker. Switch with the Carrier / Broker control under the logo; the menu changes with it and remembers your choice. Nothing on the broker side reads your trucks, your costs or your carrier book. It is being built in stages, and only screens that exist are in its menu.
Leads
- On Broker settings, copy the website snippet and paste it where the quote form should appear on your site. The form only accepts submissions from the website addresses listed there.
- Each request lands on Leads with the lane, vehicles and contact details. Add phone and email requests yourself with Add lead.
- Open a lead, click Price this lead to run the market engine, adjust the number if you want, and Send quote. The shipper gets an email in your company's name.
- Set a follow-up date and log calls as notes. Move cards between stages by dragging or from the card's Move menu.
Bookings
A quote email can carry a Book now link. The shipper signs the agreement there and pays the deposit online into your own Stripe account, connected under Broker settings → Payments. Loadful takes no fee on it. The lead then moves through Agreement signed, Deposit paid, Fully paid and Delivered as the shipper pays and as you record balance payments and delivery on its Booking card.
Agreements are filled from details you enter: Settings for your carrier (when you haul it yourself) and Broker settings → Your brokerage for a partner carrier hauling under your broker authority. Each says when it is ready to issue.
Quote a shipper
Quote a shipper prices one shipment without creating a lead: the retail market quote with its line items, and what carriers are being paid on the lane on the live board. The gap is what is left for you.
Carriers
Carriers is your rolodex of the trucking companies you call to cover loads: MC and DOT, contacts, insurance, rigs, the lanes they run, and your vetting record and paperwork dates. Because equipment and lanes are picked from fixed lists, you can search it by lane and trailer type. Everything on it is what your office enters; nothing is looked up or scraped.
